What's for Dinner? - Slow Cooker Asian Pork Chops With Rice

Pork: The Incredibly Versatile Meat! For this recipe, I used the same sauce (or same idea anyway) that I used for the tilapia stir fry in pastry cups and poured it over these incredibly tender boneless pork chops. I came home at 1:00pm, had these in the crock pot by 1:30 and by 7:30pm they were so tender that you couldn't use a fork to flip or move them without them falling apart. PERFECT. I scissored up some green onion to sprinkle on top, placed the pork chop over some rice and it was full of robust flavor and will freeze wonderfully for a night you don't feel like cooking!  I'm not sure this could get any easier. Here goes:

~Ingredients~

6 boneless pork chops
1 tsp. minced garlic
1/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp. ground ginger
 ~Directions~

1.  Place the pork chops in the crock pot.
2.  Combine all of the other ingredients and pour over the pork chops.
 3.  Set crock pot to low heat for 6-7 hours.
4.  Serve on a bed of rice and garnish with green onion.
YUMMMMMMMM.

  2. I tried it a couple of weeks ago but I added frozen broccoli that last hour of cooking it and it was a big hit with my family that they want it again tonight!!! The only thing I do is if it gets to thin from all the juices from the pork I make a little rue and add it to the cricket pot to thicken it up than pour it over rice...yummy!!!!!!
