Ok. It seems as though I haven't completely warped my child's brain regarding eggs. Yesterday's smiley-face egg debacle seems to have only lasted for that day. Lesson learned: No more putting smiley faces on Piper's food. As a test, this morning I had her help me make her "pretty eggs with cheese" and all was well in Breakfast Land. Whew!
Please heed my warning. If your child is naturally animal-friendly and wishes to not eat things with a face on his or her own accord, do not carve faces into their food. Unless you just plan on having an ongoing therapy fund set aside, which obviously I do.
